Dcnstr. Magazine
HomeDcnstr. a magazine focusing on presenting the work behind the creation of contemporary art and media. The idea and layout for this magazine was created under supervision from teacher Pompe Hedengren.
I can spend hours looking at videos where you can see the process behind a complicated project and I wanted to catch that essence in this magazine. Dcnstr. was created with very strict grids so that the magazine itself could be deconstructed and bloat it’s underlying structure to the reader. Every spread in the magazine contains entirely illustrated backgrounds. This is to fully devote each page to it’s subject.
The magazine was also an experiment in rotating the standard viewing angle of a magazine by 90 degrees.
